TeX Live in a pocket or iPad + Raspberry Pi + WiFi Short lecture with a demo Tablets are nowadays not only trendy but also a useful tool that owing to their small size can always be carried with. However, the system of the famous iPad is closed and does not allow easy file sharing between applications. As far as the TeX world is concerned, only LaTeX probably in a limited implementation is available. This is not convenient for users who want to use plain TeX, to users who need LuaTeX or XeLaTeX, to users who wish to use commercial fonts in their documents. Raspberry Pi offers an open system for which TeX Live distribution is available. A great many other programs can be installed. Its small size and low price is compensated by the fact that it is sold without peripheral devices. The tablets do not have an ethernet port for a direct connection to a network. This contribution will explain and demonstrate how an iPad and Raspberry Pi can be interconnected and how TeX can be used even at places where network connection is unavailable.
